Opportunity Details:
• Step into a ready-made practice as patient referrals come from within the world-renowned organization of Scottish Rite for Children
• Evaluate and treat patients within an integrated "sub-specialty medical home model." Patients fall into two overarching categories: medical/social and Spina Bifida
• Morning half-day clinics that include teaching; afternoons are dedicated to conferences and meetings
• Research (embedded in the patient visit) is a key component of this position; approximately 40 data points are collected with each patient encounter. Scottish Rite for Children is one of 30 data collection sites for the National Patient Registry for the Centers for Disease Control.
• Open to experienced Developmental Behavioral, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities or Complex Care Pediatricians
• Academic rank determined by the hospital's academic partner, UT Southwestern
